Using 3D spaces
Crocodile Technology now includes 3D to help make your circuits and systems more realistic and easier to build:
Depending on what you want to do, choose one of the two types of 3D space:
- Mechanisms 3D space: This lets you create and edit electronic circuits and mechanical systems in 3D.
- PCB 3D space: The PCB (printed circuit board) space combines schematic circuit diagrams with real-life 3D simulations. After creating
a circuit, you can autoplace and autotrack components using real-PCB to create a 3D printed circuit board that simulates alongside your 2D schematic circuit.
Drag 3D spaces into a model from the Parts library, just like any other part. You can then start to add parts into the spaces to create your circuit or mechanical system.
